Our Experience

We have experience creating a wide range of events from large conferences for thousands, to vibrant and impactful galas for hundreds, to more intimate receptions and retreats. Our approach to planning centers on accessibility and diversity and aspires to a Universal Design framework where those most marginalized and forgotten are the focal point, not an afterthought.

We know that when an attendee enters an event, each and every one of them should receive the message that “you matter”.

That means paying close attention to how they experience every detail from aisle width for ease of wheelchair movement, to restroom access for all genders, highly visible signage, interpreters for ASL and multiple languages, welcoming and inclusive language in program descriptions, racial/gender/ability/sexual orientation diversity among presenters/speakers.

How We Help

Clients can lean on the Events by Lady K team to manage details, track budgets and deadlines, and provide a seamless experience that leaves guests – and you and your team – enjoying the event without a care. We have experience leading extensive project management systems with multiple stakeholders, overseeing robust registration platforms and on-site ticketing, calling stage shows, designing décor themes & immersive environments, and procuring entertainment, keynotes, and workshop programming. Our team also regularly serves as a liaison between clients and vendors, coordinating rentals, transportation, and menu curation. We prioritize sourcing from other LGBTQ, people of color, women, and minority-owned businesses whenever possible.
